My daughter Keturah makes this with a sourdough starter she got from Above Rubies, a ministry in Tennessee. There is no added yeast or baking powder used. It only contains wild yeast that is caught and carried in the starter. It is made from rye and kamut flours. Kamut is an ancient grain cultivated from an extinct grave found in an Egyptian tomb.
